We are continuing activities in Japan as Samsung's R&D base.

History of the Institute

In 1992, our company was established as a small R&D facility in Tokyo.
With the support of Japanese government and Yokohama city,
we built our own Yokohama building in June 1997 and started full-scale research and development work.
We now have the Osaka office in addition to the Yokohama office.
Through the highest-level research and development, we aim to create Samsung products that are beloved by the world

Tsurumi River flows near Yokohama building, and you can see the cherry blossoms along the river in spring.
